Boss says team used force

The boss of TAS Suzuki, Hector Neal, says force was used to ensure his team could travel to the Island by ferry yesterday.

Around 50 riders, teams and their trailers were turned away from the Steam Packet terminal at Heysham for a sailing they believed was just for competitors.

Hastily-rescheduled travel arrangements have caused difficulties in the build-up to the TT and it’s believed up to 5,000 passengers will be affected.
