Molyneux bailed

by isleofman.com 24th May 2007
Sentence on a 35 year old woman has been adjourned by the High Bailiff.

Helen Molyneux of Tynwald Close, St Johns, admitted seven offences of making false statements to obtain social security benefits.

Rachel Braidwood, prosecuting, said the defendant was paid income support on the basis that she was a single mother who wasn't working.

Miss Braidwood said inspectors from the DHSS received information that the defendant was working at the Tynwald Hill Inn as a cleaner but failed to report that her circumstances had changed. As a result she was overpaid the sum of ?929.

Mr Moyle bailed Molyneux until June 19th.
