Public sector pay 'unsatisfactory'

The two sections of the Whitley Council are still at loggerheads over proposed pay increases for public sector manual workers.

Secretary for the Employees' side, Bernard Moffatt, says offers by the Employers' side have been unsatisfactory so far.

Mr Moffatt says he and his colleagues will continue for an above inflation increase.

And he believes the situation can still be resolved:
