Safety plea for post workers

Isle of Man Post has made a plea to drivers and bikers during TT - look out for our posties.

The organisation says it’s going to be much busier on the roads than usual, which could put its postmen at risk if people don’t show some consideration on the roads.

Post staff are often out at unsociable hours and are sometimes forced to park in less than ideal places on the course while making collections and deliveries.

Dot Tilbury of Isle of Man Post says although workers try to keep themselves as safe as possible, she’d like motorists to keep an eye out for those out on their rounds:
