FosterPlus pays tribute to staff

A director of the Island’s fostering organisation has paid tribute to his staff after revealing the company would pull out of the Island next month.

FosterPlus says irreconcilable differences with the Department of Health and Social Security led it to hand in its notice last October.

The company – with offices across the UK – says the fifty children and forty foster families it’s responsible for will be taken over by the DHSS in June.

Paul Snell says although he’s disappointed with the organisation’s relationship with social services, he wants to thank his staff who’ve been working on the front line of care:
