Bikers will be covered

A UK motorcycle insurance specialist has spoken out in the debate over whether bikers will be covered for riding on the Mountain Road during TT.

Altrincham-based Carole Nash Insurance is reassuring bikers on its books they WILL be covered throughout the Isle of Man, regardless of any alterations to road priorities.

Last week's MotorcCycle News reported some bikers would be un-insured on the Mountain section of the course - because it had been made one-way.

The authorities here since denied this would affect cover.

And the TT races' Chief Scutineer Harvey Garton has described the story as 'scaremongering':
