Trees and high hedges

An MLC says charging people ?150 to complain about their neighbour’s high hedges will deter many from doing so.

Eddie Lowey says the charges should be levied against those who allow their trees and hedges to become so overgrown.

The new rules were voted in by Tynwald yesterday (Tues) and people will only have their money refunded if they withdraw their complaint before DoLGE issues a notice against those responsible.
