TT insurance for bikers

by isleofman.com 14th May 2007
The Department of Transport says there are no special rules for the Mountain Road this TT and so insurance cover shouldn’t be an issue for bikers.

Reports in Motorcycle News last week suggested thousands of people would have their cover withdrawn on the Mountain part of the course.

But Director of Highways Bruce Hannay (pictured)says this isn’t true and seems to have come about because of a misunderstanding.

He says the issue has highlighted the need for people to check their policies.
