Michael Commissioners say they hope a letter to Chief Minister Tony Brown will persuade him the village needs its own doctor’s surgery.
They wrote after the DHSS revealed plans to move the surgery because of a lack of demand.
But Brian Corlett, chair of Michael’s board, says he’s convinced the village should retain the facility.
And he says he hopes the letter will put more pressure on the DHSS to change its mind.
