Changing rooms for footballers

by isleofman.com 12th May 2007
Junior football teams will be able to use changing rooms run by Douglas Corporation for free over the next few days.

The teams are currently charged a discounted rate of ?17 to hire a pitch with a separate charge for the changing facilities.

However, the Council's waved that fee following a complaint when youngsters were left without a changing room for a match at Groves Road earlier this week.

Raina Chatel, head of leisure services, believes it's possible some clubs have been unaware of the charge and used facilities without permission earlier in the season.
