Woman cleared of allegations

A woman who staged a five week hunger strike at her home in Braddan to publicise her dispute with the Irish government, has been officially cleared of money laundering allegations.

57-year old Kathryn Nelson who lives at Farmhill, ended the hunger strike after two spells in hospital.

Ms Nelson was questioned over money-laundering allegations following the Northern Bank Robbery two years ago.

She's since fought to restore her reputation, and wants an apology and compensation from the Irish governement.
