Further criticism of police survey

by isleofman.com 10th May 2007
Following an allegation that results of the recent police satisfaction survey were 'somewhat suspicious,' one of the participants says she believes the process was flawed.

On Manx Radio this morning North Douglas MHK John Houghton, an outspoken critic of policing on the Island, claimed those interviewed by the research company were contacted in advance by the constabulary.

He also alleged some officers were 'very angry' about the report's findings.

Now Ramsey resident Marie Neill says she is unhappy because the questions she was asked didn't enable her to get her concerns across (audio file across):

Manx Radio is awaiting a response from the Department of Home Affairs to those allegations.
