False alarm at Ronaldsway

by isleofman.com 10th May 2007
Emergency services were called out to Ronaldsway Airport earlier this lunchtime for what turned out to be a false alarm.

A Hawk training aircraft from RAF Valley in Anglesey had radioed in to say it had a problem which could have affected its landing.

Fortunately the pilot managed to touch down safely just after twenty past twelve.
