St Ninians cycle Britain

by isleofman.com 6th May 2007
The two teams of cyclists from St Ninian's High School continue their quest to cycle the length of Britain today (Sun)

The cyclists left the Island on Friday night and drove to either end of the country, John O'Groats and Lands End.

They set off early yesterday morning (Sat) and by 5pm yesterday the northern team had reached Fort William.

The teams, who are raising money for the school charity Mad for CIU, or "Make a difference for children in Uganda," hope to complete their challenge by meeting in the middle of the country in time to make it back to the Island on the Monday morning sailing

The "Mad for CIU" project, which started last September, has almost reached its ?30,000 target to build a new school in Uganda
