Ramsey is to become YAMSEY for TT week.

Yamaha Classic Racing Machines will be on display in the foyer of Ramsey Town Hall throughout the week and it’s hoped stars past and present will also appear to sign autographs and have photos taken with the public.

The news was confirmed by commissioner Geoff Quayle who’s been discussing promotional events with Yamaha over the past few months.

The town’s Chamber of Trade has also been working with Yamaha to encourage people to shop local, with a prize of a replica helmet worth ?250 on offer each day.

Among the other events in Ramsey during TT week will be the Flying Gunners Motorcycle Display Team, the Yamaha off-road school and fun slow riding competition, a treasure hunt and the annual Ramsey Sprint.
