Legco candidates face grilling

by isleofman.com 5th May 2007
Members of the House of Keys will today (Fri) have the opportunity to quiz the latest batch of Legislative Council candidates.

Former police inspector Derek Nicholson, head of the Isle of Man Bank's Premium Banking Division David Saunders and Energy FM radio boss Juan Turner have been invited to a meeting this afternoon.

They will have ten minutes to present their policies, and will be asked whether they would support the Constitution Bill, why they didn't stand in November's General Election and why they want to be a member of Tynwald.

MHK's will attempt to fill the vacant seat at Tuesday's sitting.
