Dawn Chorus Day

by isleofman.com 3rd May 2007
Manx birdlovers will gather at the Wildlife Park on Sunday, to celebrate this year's International Dawn Chorus Day.

All around the globe, people will rise early to greet the morning sun and enjoy the sound of birdsong.

Last year over 50 people gathered at the Curragh's and heard dozens of different species.

The event this Sunday at the Wildlife Park starts at 5am, Chris Sharpe from the Manx Bird Atlas will be the leader and says everyone is invited: (clip 1)

There will also be a gathering at Silverdale a week on Saturday at 4.30 am.
