Fly-camping unlikely to be a problem

With TT fast approaching and around 50,000 visitors expected, there are concerns over whether everyone will have somewhere to lay their heads.

The Department of Tourism and Leisure has found around twenty thousand extra bed spaces, which, according to Minister Adrian Earnshaw, should meet accommodation targets.

But campsites have a limited capacity, so it's expected some people with tents or motorhomes will have to make alternative arrangements.

Advocate John Wright says if you do find someone camping illegally or on an inappropriate site, it's best to go and have a word with them first:
