Immigrant workers costing Manx jobs?

A local labourer claims he and other Manx colleagues have been laid off from working at the new Isle of Man prison site, but immigrant workers have been retained.

The man believes it's because the Polish labourers are cheaper to employ.

The Transport and General Workers Union's Bernard Moffatt (pictured) is looking into the matter.

He says IF the rumours are true he's extremely concerned:
