Lobster pot theft

Police in the south of the Island are investigating an unusual theft at sea.

A string of 13 lobster pots have been stolen from between the Castletown Buoy and the Stack Rock.

The pots were in use on the sea bed when they were taken and police say a boat and winch would have been needed to remove them

The pots are valued at ?800 and officers are appealing to anyone in the local fishing community to come forward with any information regarding their removal.
