Declaration signed with UK

The Chief Minister says a new declaration signed with the United Kingdom Government will give confidence to businesses looking to invest in the Island, as well as those already here.

Tony Brown believes the landmark document recognises the Island has its own distinct and legitimate interests on the world stage, which may be different from those of the UK.

The declaration is the culmination of around two years of discussions between our government and its UK and other Crown Dependency counterparts.

Mr Brown (pictured) says it officially confirms what's been known in the Isle of Man for years:
