Pulrose - demolition option

The Local Government Minister believes demolishing houses in Upper Pulrose is the best option.

Speaking in the House of Keys this morning, John Shimmin, told members he doesn't think the estimated cost of ?6 million to refurbish the 50 older properties is value for money.

The houses in the outer ring of Upper Pulrose are currently being insulated and central heating upgrades should be complete before next winter.

Mr. Shimmin thinks the best option would be to rebuild properties:
