Clarke remanded on GBH

A man charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent has appeared before Deemster Doyle at a court of General Jail.

20 year old Ben Edward Clarke, care of the prison, pleaded not guilty to the alleged assault on Stuart Sneddon on November 1st 2006.

Christopher James Christian (21) of King Street, Douglas, also entered a plea of not guilty in respect of the same offence.

Christian was granted bail whilst Clarke was remanded in custody.

The trial is due to start on December 3rd.
