Microlight update (Monday)

by isleofman.com 30th April 2007
The co-owner of the microlight aeroplane which crashed in the North of the Island on Friday has been discharged from hospital after sustaining what are believed to be only minor injuries.

The pilot - thought to have been test flying the microlight prior to granting it an airworthiness certificate - is said to be 'stable and improving' in the ITU at Noble's Hospital.

The aircraft was destroyed in the accident.
