St George's Day parade and service

The annual St George’s Day parade and service takes place this afternoon (Sunday) celebrating a century of scouting.

The parade at two forty and service at three o’clock are being held on Tynwald Hall to commemorate the milestone.

Celia Marshall is co-ordinating the centenary events in the Island.

She says today is a very important day in the scouting calendar (audio file attached):
