Bishopscourt up for sale

One of the Island’s most historic houses is up for sale in the region of ?6 million.

Bishopscourt has been put on the market with estate agents Knight Frank and Chrystals.

It also has a three-bedroom staff flat, a chauffeur's flat and a coach house with parking for eight cars.

Bishopscourt was sold into private hands in 1979, ending more than seven centuries of association with the Diocese of Sodor and Man.

Its most recent owner, William Lomas, passed away two years ago.
