More first time-buyers homes planned

by isleofman.com 27th April 2007
Plans are underway for 16 more first time buyer houses, at Cronk Grianagh, Braddan.

Subject to planning approval, the Department of Local Goverment and the Environment hopes to have ten three-bedroom and six two-bedroom terraced properties completed by the summer of next year.

They will be built to standards defined by the department for all "affordable" housing developments, and will be approved dwellings under the House Purchase Assistance Scheme.

The department aims to have over 400 new first-time buyer houses completed in the next three years, all of which will be allocated to people on its first time buyer register.
