by isleofman.com 20th April 2007
The Industry Minister has this morning applauded the launch of a new company at Ronaldsway that will provide employment for 25 of the staff who lost their jobs when Flybe took over BA connect.

Aviotech (Isle of Man Ltd) will specialise in aviation technical support services for airworthiness and engineering.

They have already signed contracts with BA City Flyer and Flybe

Minister David Cretney said he was optimistic his department would soon be able to make further positive announcements about more jobs in the sector.
