Unluckiest place for Premium Bonds!

The Isle of Man has topped a poll as Britain's unluckiest place when it comes to winning Premium Bond prizes.

At the other end of the scale the North West has seen a dramatic reversal in fortunes over the last year with Warrington and Preston shooting up the table from 94th and 118th - to 12th and 18th respectively.

June's Premium Bond draw is predicted to be the biggest yet with a prize fund worth ?110 million, including five ?1 million jackpots.

Spokesperson for National Savings and Investments Ellen Thomas says the Island's misfortune is all a matter of bad luck:
