by isleofman.com 19th April 2007
A talented schoolboy DJ with his sights set on the top has been left devastated - after thieves stole his equipment and music collection.

14 year old Scott Hoy, a pupil at St Ninian's High School, was the victim of a spate of thefts in the Lord Street - Peel Road area of Douglas over the Easter weekend.

Police have highlighted the youngster's loss - as he had just started on the circuit and had been marked out as a future talent by established DJs.

Scott's now has to cancel planned gigs and birthday parties - and faces continued finance payments the gear he'd bought himself:

Anyone who can help should contact Lord Street CID on 631 212.
