Roll of Honour to MNH

A copy of the Roll of Honour prepared by the Liverpool Scottish Regiment to commemorate the sacrifice of its men who died between 1914 and 1919 has been presented to Manx National Heritage.

It contains the names of many Manx war dead and is a valuable addition to the MNH manuscript collection.

Manx National Heritage Archivist Wendy Thirkettle (pictured) explained why it had taken almost a century to get to us:
