Inflation no cause for concern

The latest small inflation rise in the Isle of Man isn't a cause for concern and the figure should drop again soon.

That's the opinion of the Manx Government's Economic Advisor, Steven Carse.

According to figures from the Economic Affairs Division, the annual rate of inflation rose by 0.1% last month from 3.7 to 3.8%.

But Mr Carse says inflation is under control and the figures weren't a surprise (audio file attached):
