Police are continuing to investigate an assault on an 11 year-old girl.

It happened in the public waiting room of Ramsey bus station on Queen's Pier Road at around 4.25pm on Easter Saturday.

The suspect is described as being around 40 years old, of stocky build, average height with short dark hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured bomber jacket over a dark sweatshirt with a blue design or writing on it, blue jeans and brown boots. He was clean shaven.

He was accompanied by another man who took no part in the incident. Both men got off a bus in Peel sometime after the incident.

Acting Sergeant Juan Clague from the Northern Neighbourhood policing team says the girl was left very shocked and upset (audio file attached):

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to ring Ramsey police on 812234 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line - 0800 555 111.
