Kayak expedition

Over the last four days outdoor education instructor, Keirron Tastagh, has led a group of teenagers on a round-the-island kayak expedition.

The gruelling four day endurance test was in preparation for a summer excursion to Vancouver Island where the group will be hoping to circumnavigate it in a week as part of their Duke of Edinburgh gold award.

Ben Sowrey spoke to group leader Keirron to find out about the forthcoming trip, and an adventurous record breaking attempt of his own:
