New play area in Douglas

by isleofman.com 12th April 2007
Douglas Corporation has opened a new recreation area.

Ballaughton Park links the Saddlestone and Anagh Coar estates through a series of lit footpaths.

The 3 acre site has a BMX track, a cycle fun track, a bridge and natural woodland.

In the future, the Council will create a grassed picnic area and children's playground.

It's hoped pupils from Anagh Coar school will plant flowers and install bird boxes.
