Donations for MNH TT exhibition

by isleofman.com 12th April 2007
A dedicated TT supporter has helped two worthy causes in the run up to this year's centenary event.

Alan Reed, of Walton on Thames in Surrey, has offered to sell his items of TT memorabilia and plans to donate the proceeds to the Helicopter Fund charity.

Prior to the sale, Mr Reed's items will be displayed at Manx National Heritage's "Staying the Course" Centenary Exhibition, which is due to run from the 26th of May to the 15th of September.

MNH's Curator of Social History, Matthew Richardson, says they're particularly keen to get hold of artefacts which illustrate the part supporters have played in making the TT what it is.
