New vessel in time for TT week

by isleofman.com 11th April 2007
As the Isle of Man heads towards what could be its busiest tourism season in years - the Steam Packet has confirmed its chartered an extra vessel.

The company is to operate the fast craft Emmeraude France between the Isle of Man, Liverpool and Ireland.

That's in addition to the Super Sea Cat Two - with the new service running in time for this year's TT.

The Steam Packet has been forced into the charter market - after the Sea Express One (picture by John Luxton) crashed in the Mersey earlier this year.

Steam Packet communications manager Laura Howland is confident passengers won't be disappointed.
