Power cut in West

by isleofman.com 11th April 2007
Around 250 households and businesses in the west of the Island are without power this morning (Weds).

And the MEA says supplies won't be restored until this afternoon.

The fault has been located in a high voltage cable near Patrick village and engineers are working on the problem.

It is understood the damage was caused by a third party, carrying out road works.

Properties in Dalby, Patrick, and Glen Maye are affected - the staff at the Waterfall Pub and Restaurant say they won't be able to open today.
