Camera Obscura open for Easter

by isleofman.com 8th April 2007
A much-loved curiosity in its heyday, and the latest addition to the Island's unique collection of Victoriana, the Camera Obscura will be open to the public between 11 am and 4pm today and tomorrow (Easter Monday).

Manned by volunteers from the Victorian Society, it attracted more than 4,000 visitors last year.

Case worker Peter Kelly believes it offers an insight to young and old alike (audio file attached):

The Camera Obscura will open again for the summer season on May 5.
