Island well prepared for centenary TT

The organiser of a TT table top exercise is confident the Island's emergency services, government departments and infrastructure are ready for this year's event.

The DHA's Assistant Emergency Planning Officer, Ian Young, says preparation is key to ensuring everything runs smoothly

Ministers and chief executives from the DoT and DHA and senior staff from the emergency services and various government departments attended the exercise and were taken through hypothetical situations.

Mr Young says it's not a case of fearing the worst, just being ready for every eventuality (audio file attached):
