Peel Bay Festival - new site confirmed

by isleofman.com 28th March 2007
A one hundred acre site has been confirmed for this summer’s Peel Bay Festival.

A field adjacent to Ballagyr Lane on the Ramsey Road will be the venue for gigs from a number of big names including The Who, Ronan Keating, Madness, Robin Gibb and Steve Gibbons.

The seven day festival will be staged in a 10,000 capacity marquee and organisers are investing in a sound system which they hope will mean very little noise to the surrounding area.

The site also has the capacity for car parking and there's plans to run a 900 pitch campsite.

The line-up for the final night of the festival is due to be announced within the next few weeks.
