Screening for slave trade DVD

by isleofman.com 23rd March 2007
A new DVD launched tonight will show the history of the Isle of Man’s involvement with a controversial industry.

Manx Slave Traders has been produced by social historian Francis Wilkins based on her 1999 book about the Island’s links to the slave trade.

The DVD will be launched next month but there’s a private showing at the Manx Museum before it becomes commercially available.
