No land in Douglas for fair

Douglas Corporation says there's no land available for the traditional TT funfair in the capital.

The Department of Tourism has told the company which runs the attraction that it's looking for a different style of promenade entertainment this year.

The fair used to operate from Noble's Park before it moved to the sea front, but Council Leader David Christian (pictured) says that is not an option.

He says the corporation has nowhere for it to go and he's glad it won't be on Loch Promenade:
