Light hearted moments in Tynwald

In what may have been a covert cost cutting move, Tynwald appeared to double up as the Tourism Information Centre this morning (Wed)

Legislative Council Member George Waft had tabled a question asking Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw for the programme of entertainment booked for the Villa Marina and Gaiety complex.

Mr Earnshaw was only too happy to supply a fairly comprehensive list of forthcoming attractions, much to the amusement of the court, but President Noel Cringle seemed less happy, and finally ran out of patience:
