Latest candidate for LegCo

by isleofman.com 19th March 2007
The latest candidate to come forward for election to the Legislative Council says he’d look forward to return to politics.

Dr David Moore was MHK for Peel until 1986, when he retired. He was also the last chairman of the finance board before the switch to the ministerial system.

On Tuesday next week, Dr Moore will try to raise the 13 votes needed from MHKs in order to take the last vacant seat on the council.

He explained why he hadn’t put his name forward until the fifth round of elections.
