Christian Aid meeting tomorrow

by isleofman.com 17th March 2007
Christian Aid's Haitian representative will make a presentation tomorrow (Monday) at a public meeting organised by the One World Centre.

As well as speaking about Haiti and Christian Aid's programme there, Prospery Raymond will particularly focus on the work of the charity's partner, Veterimed.

The organisation aims to improve animal health and is also involved in bringing farmers together to process and market dairy goods, reducing dependence on cheap imports.

Veterimed has been chosen as the project which the Island will raise money for during Christian Aid Week in May.

Tomorrow's meeting is being held at the Sanctuary basement in lower Victoria Street, starting at 7.30 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
