Police gain diplomas

Three officers from Financial Crime Unit recently completed anti-money laundering diplomas.

Acting Detective Inspector John Scarffe, Acting Chief Inspector John Mitchell and Detective Constable Paul Davenport all passed the International Compliance Association Course.

ADI Scarffe has been given an 'Outstanding Achievement Award' for getting the highest mark locally.

He says the course covered anti money laundering strategies and frameworks, as well as duties and reporting requirements, which can be applied to all related investigations:
