A 23 year old man has been jailed for a total of four years and two months by Deemster Doyle.
Peter Nultey, previously known as Peter Phillip Shaun Penketh, of Brighton Terrace, Douglas, admitted three drugs offences; producing cocaine; possessing cocaine with intent to supply; and possessing cannabis resin.
The defendant was originally detained at the Sea Terminal at 11.15pm on the April 16th 2006 for a drugs search.

Nultey was agitated and refused to be searched so he was taken to police headquarters, but before a full search was carried out he produced two small bags which he'd concealed under his clothing.
Police then searched the defendant's home and produced drugs paraphernalia.
Nultey said he had purchased the cocaine in Liverpool for ?1400 (corr) and he admitted that he had been dealing in drugs. Peter Carle, prosecuting, said the two lumps of cocaine weighed 55.7 grammes with a street value ?4,480.
The defendant failed to answer his bail condition on 30th July 2006 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was subsequently detained in London on January 30th this year.
His advocate Darren Talbot said Nultey was only twenty at the time and had admitted he had been dealer. He fled the Island because of threats, a decision he now regretted.
Deemster Doyle said he noted six pages of previous convictions, none for drugs, but accepted that Nultey's life had now moved on. He ordered him to pay the surrendered bail money of ?1000 within three months, or face an additional three months imprisonment.
