Speaker 'clarifies' Keys question rules

The Speaker of the House of Keys has issued a statement to explain his position with regard to the Chief Minister's refusal to answer a question put to him during last week's sitting.

Michael MHK David Cannan asked Tony Brown about secret payments of taxpayers money to individuals and corporate bodies.

The Chief Minister declined to provide a total amount for what Mr Cannan called THREE secret/non-disclosed payments in the current financial year.

Speaking to our political correspondent David Callister, Mr Rodan tried to clarify his position:
