MHK wants answers on salaries

Rushen MHK Quintin Gill wants answers to his concerns over civil servants' salaries.

At last month's Tynwald sitting, Mr Gill narrowly failed with a motion to force a rethink on a pay deal agreed by the civil service commission for the highest-ranking government staff.

He says conflicting information is coming from both sides involved in the agreement, the commission and the Government Officers Association, and he believes members should know more about it.

He says he cannot and will not support the scheme without further reassurances:
